ACCURATE CO2 MEASUREMENT

We are proud to introduce our sustainable solution, an initiative that places sustainability at its core and addresses the climate challenges of tomorrow today. As pioneers in our sector, we are transforming every footprint into a greener solution and leading the way towards a CO2-neutral future.

With the Selecta Eco Joy Score, we make this measurable through the following steps:

Minimising emissions:

We strive to minimise emissions at every step of our operations, with maximum sustainability as our goal.

Compensation:

Any remaining emissions are offset through sustainable carbon compensation projects, each with a gold rating. Clients can choose the desired project yourself. The result is either a climate-neutral or climate-positive collaboration.

We offer the flexibility to choose between two options:

1. Detailed, certified overview and data report:

Receive a detailed overview and data report on the CO2 footprint from our services, providing transparency and actionable insights.

2. Full, certified CO2 compensation:

Opt for Selecta to arrange full CO2 compensation for the operations, ensuring that sustainability goals are met seamlessly and efficiently.

PLEDGE IMMEDIATE ACTION

Recognising the urgency of this mission, many companies have pledged to reach CO2 neutrality even earlier than 2050. These forward-thinking organizations understand that immediate action is necessary to mitigate the impact of climate change and are taking proactive measures to reduce their carbon emissions.

MANDATORY, NOT A CHOICE!

As part of this effort, it will become mandatory for companies to measure and transparently report their CO2 footprints by 2025. This requirement will ensure that businesses are accountable for their environmental impact and are making progress towards their sustainability goals.

Furthermore, starting in 2026, larger companies and organizations will undergo audits to verify their carbon reporting, ensuring accuracy and transparency in their sustainability efforts.

IMPACT ON DAILY BUSINESS OPERATIONS

The drive for climate neutrality will have significant implications for all businesses. Companies will need to integrate sustainability into their core operations, from supply chain management to product development and energy usage. This will involve adopting greener technologies, improving energy efficiency, and sourcing sustainable materials.

ENHANCED DATA COLLECTION & REPORTING CAPABILITIES

Additionally, businesses will need to enhance their data collection and reporting capabilities to accurately measure and disclose their carbon footprints.

COST SAVINGS, IMPROVED BRAND REPUTATION, COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

These changes will not only help businesses comply with regulations but also position them as leaders in sustainability, meeting the increasing demand from consumers and investors for environmentally responsible practices. Embracing these changes can lead to cost savings, improved brand reputation, and a competitive advantage in a market that is increasingly prioritising sustainability.
